'Green' issues have risen up the corporate agenda as companies come under pressure not only to reduce their power costs as energy prices spiral, but also present a more ethical face to customers and shareholders.

But can adopting a more 'green' IT policy really help to cut costs? Which technologies pass the 'green' test, and is their investment likely to deliver real returns? Can companies make their IT infrastructure more 'green' while maintaining existing investment in the IT estate?

At these two CBR Dining Club events in London and Manchester, we will endeavour to answer these questions aided by an independent analyst and global IT provider, IBM. Delegates will also get priority access recently completed research into the CIOs view of green IT issues, conducted by The Economist Intelligence Unit.

Attendees will also hear how a number of enterprises are tackling their 'green' challenges and what they learning from their projects. And as with all CBR Dining Club events there will be ample time for a Q&A with the speakers and time to network and discuss green and other issues with fellow IT practitioners.

As always the events will be held in sumptuous surroundings where delegates can enjoy some spectacular cuisine as they learn from the expert speakers and share their experiences with the group. All in all, a night surely not to be missed.

Who may attend?

The dinner is free to attend. Places are limited and are strictly reserved for CIOs and senior IT executives at larger (1,000+ employees) public and private organisations.
