Visteon Corporation (Visteon) is a leading global supplier of automotive systems, modules and components to vehicle manufacturers and the automotive aftermarket. It supplies its products to the automotive aftermarket and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). The company has a network of manufacturing sites, technical centers, sales offices and joint ventures located in every major geographic region of the world. Visteon’s major customers include vehicle manufacturers namely Volkswagen, Renault, Nissan, Hyundai, DaimlerChrysler, Honda, Ford, General Motors, BMW, Toyota, Peugeot and Mazda. It operates in North America and Europe.
Visteon’s activities are organized into four reportable segments namely: climate, electronics, interior and others. The company’s climate segment comprises of facilities that principally manufacture climate air handling modules, climate controls, heat exchangers, powertrain cooling modules, engine induction systems, compressors and fluid transport. The company’s electronics segment comprises of facilities that mainly manufacture driver information systems, audio systems, powertrain and feature control modules, lighting, electronic control modules and infotainment systems. The company through interiors segment produces cockpit modules, floor consoles, instrument panels and door trim. The company under other product segment produces fuel products, powertrain products and parts distributed to the automotive aftermarket.
Visteon offers wide range of transition services in support of divestiture transactions principally related to the ACH Transactions and Chassis Divestiture. The company supplies leased personnel and transition services as required by certain agreements entered by the company with ACH as a part of the ACH Transactions. In addition to Master Services Agreement and the Salaried Employee Lease Agreement, it also agreed to information technology, personnel and other services to ACH.
