IT services provider Atos Origin SA has installed a new boss at its struggling UK operations.
Keith Wilman has joined the company from Computer Sciences Corp, where he headed up its operations in the UK, Ireland and The Netherlands, and where he presided over major job cuts last year.
Atos' UK operations had a particularly bad year, with revenues for the nine months to the end of September falling by over 18%. It blamed the decline on delayed project signings and the loss of its contract with the Metropolitan Police and the winding down of its major Ministry of Defence deal.
It staged a recovery late in the year though, signing major contracts with the National Health Service, the Department of Constitutional Affairs, and financial services company NFU Mutual.
Atos' senior management are currently reviewing the group's overall structure, and will report a transformational plan later this month.
