Beaverton, Oregon-headquartered desktop utility and network management software manufacturer Central Point Software Inc has bought LANlord, the workstation management product, from Microcom Inc. The deal, the financial terms of which were not disclosed, will enable Central Point to integrate LANlord into its network management product line, as well as giving the company all the assets of Microcom's Client/Server Technology Group.
