Allow organisations to find and deploy applications without programming or integrations
Cordys has launched Cordys Process Factory Marketplace, where users can find or publish MashApps or situational business applications deployable in the Cordys Process Factory Cloud.
According to Cordys, the new marketplace allows organisations to mix and match existing on-premise processes run on enterprise software with services and applications from the web. This is expected to help companies improve the way their business can respond to changes in the market.
Cordys said that the new marketplace offers extended capabilities such as ratings and reviews by users, installation and integration with the Google Apps suite of communication and collaboration tools.
The new marketplace for applications allows users of any organisation find and deploy applications without the need for programming or integrations. ISVs can use the Cordys Process Factory to develop their own channels for distribution of applications in the Cloud, the company said.
In addition, telecom operators and service providers will use Cordys Process Factory Marketplace to provide a differentiated offering of public cloud services.
Jan Baan, CEO of Cordys, said: “We believe that PaaS will start to replace corporate middleware infrastructures in the very near future. Cordys now offers a multipurpose PaaS platform that bridges the gap between the Cloud and any ERP or legacy system. Instead of investing large amounts of money in time-consuming projects to change enterprise software, companies can now quickly create and deploy their own situational applications.”
