El Segundo, California-based Computer Sciences Corporation is to provide IT infrastructure services for the US Department of Education as part of a $176m contract.
According to the agreement, the company will offer infrastructure management services, including network, project and security support, to Department of Education offices in Washington, D.C and regional offices around the US.
Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) will also be working with Atlanta, Georgia-based Accelerated Solutions, which is providing project management support, and Dallas, Texas-based Compucom, which is providing desktop support.
The deal has a one-year base period, two one-year options and seven one-year performance-based award terms.
