Global enterprise data center services provider CyrusOne has implemented BMC's Remedy OnDemand IT Service Management suite.
By implementing the BMC software, CyrusOne is hoping to increase availability and efficiency for its customers' mission-critical applications. It hopes this will reduce the possibility of IT outages and other issues, the company said.
The BMC Remedy OnDemand IT Service Management is expected to provide CyrusOne with consistent, repeatable and automated processes that streamline and optimise operations, to support customer service.
The implementation of the platform will provide CyrusOne with a new IT service management application to deliver a steady customer experience across all its data centres, the company said.
CyrusOne also said it hopes the implementation will drive higher revenues through improved ability to capture and identify billable activities and reduce the possibility for errors that could result in loss of revenue. In addition, the company can also deliver improved customer satisfaction by enabling self-service visibility into costs of services. This should help with customer wins and retention.
