There is too much data and too many documents flying around for us not to be collaborating
With so much data flying about in documents it is amazing that more firms have not invested in making collaboration tools ubiquitous.
Latest version nightmares abound. Workflow and productivity is impacted as people wait for documents to changed, closed, saved and or forwarded via email. Really! This is 2016 and most of us are still doing it in the same way we did when we first got Lotus123 back in 1994.
The cloud is of course changing that and there are some decent candidates in the collaboration space. Heard of Slack? It is an online collaboration tool which it says is used by three million people every day. The firm says over 900,000 of these users are paying.
