LinkedIn axed InMaps, which is tool that enables users to map out the appearance of their LinkedIn network.
The professional social network noted on its site: "InMaps is being discontinued on September 1, 2014, so we can focus on developing new ways to visualize your professional network.
"Please check out the LinkedIn Help Center if you have any questions. And don’t forget to download your InMap by August 31!"

Last month, LinkedIn has reportedly revealed plans to build a $1bn business from its marketing offerings by 2017.
It has also acquired business-marketing startup Bizo, for about $175m, as part of efforts to spread out beyond its existing media and content marketing products to build a B2B marketing platform by making use of its own tools.
Further, the company is also sprucing up offerings that assist businesses find customers and develop relationships via e-mails, advertising and sharing content.
LinkedIn reported 44% rise in its revenue during last quarter to $106m from its marketing products.
