This business continuity solution provides one click recovery of the data from the failed systems

Kansas-based First National Bank of Hays has selected the onQ turnkey appliance from QuorumLabs, as its business continuity solution. The bank chose onQ because of its one-click recovery capability, simple deployment and maintenance, and fast testing capability.

QuorumLabs sells onQ through resellers, and worked with Nex-Tech to provide the solution to the First National Bank. The company claimed that onQ provides similar protection to large enterprise alternatives at a fraction of the cost and complexity.

Casey Lee, network administrator at First National Bank, said: “Keeping systems up is vital for all banks. Because we’re a federal bank, we also have to meet increasingly strict audit and compliance requirements. With onQ, testing everything is a snap. I no longer lose sleep worrying about a system failure, and I’m also saving money.”

Mike Doerfler, network technology supervisor at Nex-Tech, said: “The onQ solution is the first affordable, comprehensive continuity solution for SMBs, a few years ago, a huge tornado hit and wiped out a local community. Business continuity quickly became a very important issue. With onQ, I can give my customers the confidence of knowing that their data is safe.”
