Fujitsu Ltd is forming a new wholly-owned software subsidiary in
Toyama prefecture next month, specifically to develop applications
for workstations: the new Toyama Fujitsu Ltd will be capitalised at
$770,000 and start life with 20 people - but it plans to invest
$11.5m putting up a three story, 600,000 square foot building for
occupation by the end of March next year, and employment at the
firm is planned to grow to 250 by March 1992.
