Open source business intelligence software maker JasperSoft yesterday named Brian Gentile as its new CEO.
He replaces Paul Doscher, who will remain on JasperSoft's board of directors.
Gentile recently served as chief marketing officer at data integration firm Informatica. He also held a similar role at Brio Software, a query and reporting tools vendor before it acquired by Hyperion Solutions in July 2003 and has has also worked for Apple Computer and Sun Microsystems during his 22-year career.
Gentile will pull up his CEO chair on December 10.
