Apple to launch iPhone 5S in August 2013

The iPhone 5S will feature an advanced processor as well as an improved camera.

Apple is reportedly planning to release the iPhone 5S in August 2013. The phone is expected to be similar to the iPhone 5 in design, while featuring a more advanced processor as well as an enhanced camera.

According to iMore, Apple will also be launching the next ipad mini in April 2013.

iMore chief-editor, Rene Ritchi,e said: "If the next iPad mini does end up getting slated for April, it could be a spec bump, or have something other than Retina as a differentiator. Hopefully we'll know more soon."

Recently, reprots claimed that Apple had been testing the iPhone 5S and revealed that the new smartphone would feature a 'super HD camera/screen, a better battery, and NFC," as well as an IGZO screen for Retina+.

Additionally, the company is also planning to release an iPad mini with Retina display in October 2013.
