LG Electronics has unveiled the world's first curved flexing smartphone, LG G Flex, in Singapore and Hong Kong.

The G Flex features a 6-inch durable plastic OLED (P-OLED) HD display and a back cover equipped with the self-healing technology that allows it to eliminate scratches.

Powered by a quad-core 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 processor along with an Adreno 330 GPU supported by the 2GB of RAM, the new smartphone runs on the Android's 4.2.2 Jelly Bean version.

The Phone has a 13MP rear camera and a 2.1MP front facing camera, while it derives its power from a 3,500mAh battery.

LG G Flex is scheduled to be available in Singapore and Hong Kong this week and is expected to be launched across the key markets by the end of the year.
