With the plethora of Android devices out there in the market today, consumers are using their smartphones and tablets in more and more ways. Despite still in Beta testing, VLC is another all-in-one that looks incredibly promising when it's finally finished. It's free, and is an open source cross-platform multimedia player that plays most multimedia files as well as discs, devices, and network streaming protocols.
