The company recently introduced the Surface Pro 3 tablet and by offering its previous generation tablet at a low price, Microsoft is expecting a sale boost.

Reportedly Surface 2 did not live up to the expectations of Microsoft, and by reducing the price the company might be trying to boost the sales.

Surface 2's 32GB model has 2GB of RAM and it's powered by Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, it features 10.6 inch screen with 5-point multi-touch.

The tablet also features 3.5 megapixel front camera and 5.0 megapixel rear camera, and apart from storage there is not much difference between the three tablets.
