New CEO moves in at LogLogic

CBR Staff Writer Published 27 August 2009

Incoming chief arrives from NetApp

LogLogic Inc, a supplier of software that safeguards against internal and external threats with automated log management, has a new chief.

Taking over from Patricia Sueltz as CEO is Guy Churchward who has come in from NetApp, where he was VP and general manager.

Sueltz joined LogLogic in December 2007 from SurfControl where she was CEO, just before it was acquired by WebSense. Before that, she had been President of Global Operations at Salesforce.com and an Executive VP for Sun Microsystems.

She led the recent takeover of security event management outfit Exaprotect for its threat and security configuration change management products, and a move that significantly increased LogLogic’s market presence.

The business now claims to have more than 1,000 customers worldwide.
