Capgemini top for user satisfaction, finds survey
Outsourcing gets the thumbs up from UK firms, as an EquaTerra study finds record levels of satisfaction with IT service providers.
The business advisory firm also found that companies had outsourced more of their IT applications and infrastructure this year and intended to increase that amount even further next year.
Capgemini (79%), Cognizant (79%) and Computacenter (78%) headed the list for client satisfaction and were found to share the common traits of a focused set of services and a culture where staff proactively helped clients. Bottom of the table were HP/EDS (59%), Verizon Business (58%) and CSC (51%).
Martyn Hart, chairman of the National Outsourcing Association said that this shift emphasised how companies are looking for IT partners that “will advise, push back with ideas and innovate.”
Where least year four of the top performers were Indian and only one European provider, this year the situation has reversed and four of the five are European.
More than 500 outsourcing contracts were reviewed for the study, with an annual value of over £10bn.
