Encryption options for mobiles and safe enterprise storage

Encryption software and services house PGP Corp has put out a couple of options to secure enterprise email and other potentially sensitive data that is held on business smartphones and storage media.

PGP Mobile 9.10 for Windows Mobile will automatically encrypt emails and attachments that are sent or received by a Windows Mobile smartphone. Pricing starts at around $100, the company has confirmed.

The other system launched today is PGP Portable, which is said to offer one-click encryption to convert removable devices and media such as USB sticks, CDs and DVDs into containers of encrypted data. That will retail at around $20 a unit.
