SAP tempts mid-size companies with ERP-CRM bundle

CBR Staff Writer Published 29 September 2009

Install ERP or All-in-One, get CRM ‘free’

SAP is offering discounted customer relationship management software to any of its mid-market clients that installs its enterprise resources planning suite or Business All-in-One business management software.

The company said ERP customers have until mid December to take advantage of the offer and will have to be running at least 15 application professional users and 15 application limited users.

They will receive the SAP CRM application bundled into the price of the ERP license through the Best-Run Now initiative, the software vendor has confirmed.

Analysts have noted that although an organisation will get the CRM licence at no charge, they will need to take out an annual maintenance for the customer relationship management programmes.

The ERP vendor also said its existing mid-size SAP users with SAP CRM 2007 or CRM software deployed could stand to gain from another Best-Run Now package that entitles them to receive 25% off an application user license for SAP Business All-in-One.
