1. Shutter

Making sure you take good photos starts with internal storage space, and the latest iOS app from StreamNation promises to provide you with an unlimited amount for free.

Instead of your phone, the photo app automatically uploads photo, videos and other details to the cloud, which are accessible through a browser or a desktop app, a smartphone, on TV with Chromecast or Apple TV.

Shutter, which is available in the App Store, includes filter and focus options for editing and an option to make certain files available offline. There's also an option that allows users to share images with their friends via email or social media.

2. TouchRetouch

Whether it's a fly, a bird or a stray person wandering into your photo or grey clouds in the background, this app lets you quickly and easily remove unwanted content from your photos for free.

Retailing at 69p, users can refine the selection area and re-apply the fill while keeping the rest of your image intact.
