With net income down on 07 numbers
Channel initiatives and a push into small and mid-size business markets helped drive an annual revenue growth of 10% for SonicWall Inc last year, its financial postings revealed today.
The supplier of unified threat management and e-mail security appliances said it had shipped 42,000 revenue units in its last quarter, which helped produce revenue of $218.6 million for the full year and making for growth of 9.8% over fiscal year 2007 numbers.
Matt Medeiros, CEO of SonicWall said the business had “gained market share, improved operating margin, and generated strong operating cash flow.”
Net income was down for the year, however. GAAP net income for fiscal year 2008 was $4.9 million, compared to $28.6 million in fiscal 2007, the company filings confirmed.
