SYMANTEC TO ACQUIRE LIVING VIDEOTEXT INC

Q&A natural language file management and word processing software developer Symantec Corp, Cupertino, is to acquire Living Videotext Inc, developer of outline and idea processing and presenting software for the Apple Macintosh and IBM Personal. Living Videotext will run as an independent division of Symantec and will retain its name. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
