Systems Alliance joins Greenplum appliance program

CBR Staff Writer Published 27 August 2007

Systems integrator Systems Alliance has joined Greenplum's partner program after seeing strong interest among its customers for data warehousing appliances.

Sparks, Maryland-based Systems Alliance will resell Greenplum's data warehousing appliance to customers in its mid-Atlantic and Southwestern US states, and provide services as well.

Systems Alliance said it has already signed up a global wireless services provider as its first Greenplum customer.

Greenplum's appliance combines a massively parallel PostgreSQL open source database with server and storage components from Sun Microsystems.

Greenplum is privately-held and based in San Mateo, California.
