The New York office will be headed up by Rowley Douglas MBE and located at 1325 Avenue of the Americas.

CloudSense, a cloud integrator and platinum partner, has set its sights on expanding its US operation after opening up a New York-based office and raising funding from Hawk Investment Holdings.

The New York office will be led by Rowley Douglas MBE, Executive VP at CloudSense North America, who also won a gold medal at the Sydney Olympics.

The decision comes not too long after Hawk Investment Holdings agreed to become a strategic backer of the company.

Cloudsense, founded in 2009, says it is looking to invest in product and service development as it capitalises on market opportunity.

Richard Britton, CEO at CloudSense, said: "We have a strong presence across Europe and now is the right time to have a permanent presence in the US, bringing the benefits of cloud based order management to more and more companies."
