CSC unveils new Telepresence-as-a-Service offering

Fully managed video conferencing offering based on Cisco TelePresence product suite

CSC, a provider of technology-enabled offerings and services, has unveiled TelePresence-as-a-Service (TaaS) offering, an end-to-end managed video conferencing offering based on the Cisco TelePresence product suite.

The new tele-presence offering consists monitoring and management tools to assure that TelePresence end points, network and infrastructure networks are always ready for high-definition video conferencing.

In addition, the TaaS offering has the capability to integrate disparate technology platforms into one, simplified user interface.

CSC managed network services global portfolio executive Nimesh Shah said TaaS is unique due to the company's capability to integrate the technologies and communications services that currently exist within the client's enterprise.

"Cisco's ATP certification - which CSC was able to acquire in less than 90 days - combined with CSC's extensive portfolio of Unified Communications and Collaboration services, demonstrates our ability to rapidly identify and implement leading edge technologies like Cisco's TelePresence within the enterprise," Shah said.
