Solotion will help DaaS providers.

Citrix has announced new technology solutions that will provide additional services for the expanding Citrix Service Provider (CSP) channel.

Cloud Provider Pack 2 gives service providers technology that enables a 'simple' approach to providing differentiated and vertical-specific Desktop-as-a-Service (DaaS) offerings delivered with Citrix XenApp and Citrix XenDesktop.

Citrix Cloud Provider Pack 2 includes new application technology that automates hosting-related tasks, such as management of infrastructure allocation, application placement and networking in Citrix multi-tenant hosting environments. It also provides portal-based provisioning for Windows-related provisioning operations for hosting providers through a new release of CloudPortal Services Manager.

Mitch Parker, group vice president at Citrix said:"We continue to double down on our commitment to our industry-leading DaaS service provider partner program, creating technologies that help them build differentiated businesses by enabling both desktops and apps as a service.

"The delivery of new technology solutions and relationships with major industry players will help grow this key channel, and fulfill an important technology need for end customers. No other vendor on the market, other than Citrix, has this strong mix of technology to enable service providers."
