Convergys opens new integrated contact centre in Philippines

This is the thirteenth contact centre of Convergys in the Philippines

Convergys, a provider of inrelationship management, has expanded its operations in the Philippines with the opening of a new integrated contact centre in Muntinlupa City.

The new Alabang Two contact centre facility is the second Convergys facility located in the area and measures 68,000 sq. ft, will employ up to 1,200 additional employees from the region bringing total employment in the country to approximately 23,000.

The contact centre which is the thirteenth contact centre of Convergys in the Philippines and will consist executive and administrative offices, training rooms, conference rooms, and employee lounges.

Convergys Asia Pac/EMEA Philippines country manager and managing director Marife Zamora said the company continues to add facilities in the Philippines due to significant and continuing client demand for the very high quality customer service provided by their dedicated teams of agents.

"Since opening our first facility in the Philippines in 2003, we've experienced great success here and with our agent population and talented management team, I'm convinced this success will continue," Zamora said.
