Apple has updated its App Store Review Guidelines with a new section called Kids Apps.
Apple's move comes after criticism following a flood of high-profile cases about children spending huge amounts on mobile games without their parents' consent.
Apple has also added rules banning apps that may lead to physical harm and apps with real-money gaming - like poker or casino games - can only be available in areas that allow it.
The iPhone maker also revealed that these type of apps will be restricted by location, and will only be offered in places where it can be legally used.
