A software testing firm has appointed a former HP chief at its new CEO.
Tricentis today announced that Sandeep Johri is their new chief executive, after eight years as vice-president of industry cloud with HP and with 25 years' experience in the technology industry.
Company founder Wolfgang Platz said Johri was chosen for his "excellent track record" after founding companies including Blue Lane Technologies, which was acquired by VMW, and Oblix, acquired by Oracle, as well as a year-long stint at Appcelerator.
Tricentis chief sales officer, Franz Fuchsberger, said: "From the rapid growth he achieved at HP to helping make Appcelerator the leading mobile enterprise platform, it is clear Sandeep has an excellent track record of acquiring customers and growing revenue.
"We are delighted to have him join our team and are excited at what the future holds for Tricentis."
Johri has been tasked with increasing awareness and adoption of Tricentis products as the firm attempts to grow around the globe.
