SAP has joined hand with Accenture to offer end-to-end applications to clients using the SAP HANA platform.
The new cloud based platform offers industry and functional applications as well as services from both companies for which Accenture will handle contracts to support the adoption of applications either as a public or private cloud service.
As part of the collaboration, the companies will introduce the Marketing Performance Solution, which allows chief marketing officers (CMOs) to assess and respond to the marketing performance data including sales figures, media spend and social reach in near real-time.
Accenture Technology Ecosystem & Offerings senior managing director Mark Willford said that the new applications are expected to provide better flexibility for enterprises.
"They will have access to leading industry applications running on SAP HANA with all software and hardware components under a single contract," Willford added.
"We believe this is a unique offering in the SAP ecosystem that answers our clients' growing demand for simplification."
Marketing Performance Solution uses analytics applications from SAP HANA platform and Accenture marketing analytics as well as allows the CMOs and marketing teams to access data from multiple sources and respond to transition in the market demand.
The application also features customisable Web-based user interface that can be accessed from PCs and mobile devices, and helps in tracking results of marketing campaigns, running simulations and promotions.
Additionally, the new CMO application features Accenture Customer Insight, analytics functions from SAP and industry-specific applications.
