Telanetix introduces new version of digital phone system

CBR Staff Writer Published 06 July 2009

Allows customers to have one phone system and publish separate phone numbers for each business

Telanetix, a provider of communications products, has released a new version of its Digital Phone System (DPS), targeting the small business market.

Telanetix claims that the new version provides capability of operating multiple businesses out of one location using one phone system which enables entrepreneurs to run two different companies from the same building using the same personnel. The new version provides Telanetix’s small business customers access to this feature.

Doug Johnson, CEO of Telanetix, said: “Our new version of DPS allows our customers to have one phone system and publish separate phone numbers for each business, thus cutting back on overhead.

“When a call comes in, the phone system displays which business was called, so the person answering the phone knows how to answer. The result is that an entrepreneur can run two businesses with one phone system, an advanced productivity feature that was not previously available.”
