Non-mobile customers can now sign up for home broadband services.
EE launched an agressive move to compete directly with Sky and Virgin Media by opening up its home broadband networks to anyone in the UK.
Previously, the company limited its networks to existing mobile customers, but from today this was abolished with packages as cheap as £2.50 a month.
EE is also offering to buy customers out of their contracts with rivals, providing up to £100 credit, and will also give away 12 months free subscription to Norton 360.
The package includes extending its popular 'EE Wednesdays' promotion (previously known as Orange Wednesdays) to new customers, giving them the opportunity to experience 2 for 1 cinema tickets and discounted meals at selected restaurants.
The company says its network currently covers 70% of the UK population across 200 towns and cities.
