Canadian food and cookware firm Victorian Epicure is set to implement the new BatchMaster enterprise resource planning software it recently ordered from BatchMaster Software.
Victorian Epicure, marketing under the banner of Epicure Selections, is a food and cookware company specializing in gourmet spice blends, rubs, and jellies. The company is a unique organization in its niche since its marketing is done primarily through a direct-to-consumer distribution model via thousands of field sales consultants who facilitate in-home sales parties, similar to Tupperware or Mary Kay Cosmetics.
Victorian Epicure required a product that could be integrated with its web-based sales system as the company was adamant about not replacing that core existing technology. Following a review of BatchMaster, the company ordered the BatchMaster Enterprise solution with MRP/MPS and eConnect for integration with its sales system.
The bulk of the BatchMaster implementation process will begin in January 2007.
