Cloud computing agreement signed
ZTE has won the China Telecommunications' tender for providing equipment and network solutions for cloud computing services.
As a part of the contract, the company will provide cloud desktop system and server virtualisation software to China Telecommunications.
The two companies have joined together to develop cloud computing under the direction of International Telecommunications Union (ITU-T), and they have partnered in research and development of cloud computing technologies.
ZTE has developed iECS server virtualisation software and iRAI cloud desktop system that join the virtualisation engines and support data traffic redirection and virtual applications.
The company offers the CoCLoud system, the iECS virtualisation software product, the iRAI virtual desktop product, the iROS cloud computing management platform, the iBOX cloud terminal device, the cloud storage product CSS2000 and a USapphire product for data centres.
