Enhances Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Dashboard and Reporting modules
Digite, a provider of ALM on SaaS, has launched Digite Enterprise 6.3, in both Cloud/SaaS and On-Premise versions.
The new Digite Enterprise 6.3 comes with enhanced PPM (Project Portfolio Management) capabilities, with improvements in Portfolio Management, Resource Management, Dashboard and Reporting modules.
Through the new offering, Digite’s Project Portfolio Module has been improvised to include enhanced UI and navigation, enhanced Dashboards and "What-If" features, and new reports that enable better decision-making at management level.
The Resource Management and Analysis capability has been strengthened to enable better top-down resource planning and planned versus actual resource allocation tracking.
The new offering also provides improved reporting, usability and collaboration with the inclusion of improved reporting, better alerts and notifications and easier application configuration.
Digite product senior vice-president Mahesh Singh said the company is very strong in collaborative project execution — an area where traditional PPM tools are usually considered weak.
"Over the years, we have seen our customers move away from desktop or client-server point offerings to a web-based centralised approach to Application Lifecycle Management and Project Management," Singh said.
"This has given them a powerful foundation of reliable, standardised data on which they are now building their Portfolio Management and resource optimisation processes and developing metrics and dashboards and Digite Enterprise 6.3 is geared to help them do that more effectively."
