Also launches RSA Archer eGRC management platform
EMC has unveiled its enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance (eGRC) strategy, which the company says is designed to help organisations gain greater visibility into their data, and drive a trusted operational framework across the enterprise.
EMC’s eGRC ecosystem includes an open platform, technology solutions, user community, partners and services.
It is expected to offer enterprise-level control and integration of risk and compliance solutions across four solution areas: business solutions, information governance, business continuity & disaster recovery and advanced security management.
EMC has also launched the next-generation of its RSA Archer management platform.
The company said key platform enhancements include better visibility into operational risk, advanced search and reporting and new visual workflow builder.
EMC Information Infrastructure Products president and chief operating officer Pat Gelsinger said customers are looking for partners who can provide broad sets of solutions that help them manage these inter-related risks in more coordinated ways.
Gelsinger said, "EMC is uniquely positioned with the technologies and expertise to help customers create more strategic and effective processes and systems for managing business risk across physical, virtual and cloud environments."
