The model brings together Wipro’s vision of an industry powered by an as a Service (aaS) model. In doing so, the company will leverage HPE Flexible Capacity, which is an on-demand capacity service that delivers economics of public cloud.
The model has been designed to offer suitable IT infrastructure services in one mode to help customers build on growth while they embrace digital transformation.
Wipro and HPE’s global customers will be offered the model for IT infrastructure procurement provisioning, according to the companies.

Our collaboration with Wipro delivers the agility and economics of a public-cloud experience with the control and performance benefits of on-premises IT.”
HPE generated revenue of $1.26bn in Q2 2016 which the company said was based on the increase in infrastructure product sales.
HPE’s consumption-based model will be combined with Wipro’s IT infrastructure services suite together with its global delivery capabilities to provide customers with the required security features to develop a steady IT infrastructure.

HPE is particularly familiar with providing data centre solutions, in fact the company recently partnered with Rittal to deliver modular data centre solutions for global IoT and edge customers.
