As open source becomes more relevant to enterprises more companies have aligned closely to it.

The company revealed its plans to add Kubernetes just before KubeCon, the annual user conference of Kubernetes hosted by the Linux Foundation.
In addition to its support for Kubernetes, the company also decided to open source the core engine behind its Azure Container Service.
The idea is to enable developers to understand the architecture that lets Azure run multiple orchestration engines.
