Connects 333 branches, 838 ATMs, 24-hour call centres and online banking facilities
Cisco said that ING Bank Turkey has deployed a secure and reliable information infrastructure based on its Borderless network architecture.
The Borderless network supports a multichannel business model by connecting 333 branches and 838 ATMs along with 24-hour call centres and online banking facilities.
The company said that the new network infrastructure serves as the foundation for platform integration across channels, helping to streamline operations, speed up product and service delivery, and manage the overall customer experience.
Cisco said that with the deployment of Borderless network architecture branches now have increased connection speeds, enabling employees to access information faster, complete transactions quickly, and serve customers efficiently.
The Cisco 2800 Series Integrated Services Routers (ISRs) have been deployed at all branches and are connecting the branch offices into the backbone infrastructure, which consists of Catalyst 6500, 7600 and 7200 Series Routers while the headquarter is served with Catalyst 4500 Series Switches.
Cisco Turkey enterprise sales manager Isil Hasdemir said the Borderless Network architecture was meeting ING Turkey’s needs to serve its customers across the country in branches, through call centres and via Internet banking.
