Carousel to expand the customer base in northeastern region for IP telephony and networking
Carousel Industries, a provider of data networking and unified communications, has signed a letter of intent to acquire the assets of Juma Technology, a New York-based company.
Juma Technology is an Avaya Business Partner and a business unit of the publicly traded Juma. It has approximately 350 customers and offices in Farmingdale, Long Island and New York City.
By acquiring Juma Technology, Carousel Industries builds on its core capabilities in convergence, IP telephony and traditional networking while expanding its customer footprint in the northeastern region.
Carousel Industries chief executive officer Jeff Gardner said their acquisition of Juma Technology plays to Carousel Industries’ core strengths in networking and convergence, while expanding their geographic footprint.
Juma Technology chief executive officer Anthony M. Servidio said they are enthusiastic about this acquisition and believe it is a very positive development for Juma Technology’s entire customer base.
"Since the beginning, Juma Technology has had a one hundred percent focus on the customer; we believe this important characteristic will translate seamlessly into the culture of Carousel Industries, which holds similar customer values," Servidio said.
