Five-year contract for $30m, to upgrade PeopleSoft-based HRMS
SRA International announced that it has won a task order to continue providing support to US Coast Guard (USCG), Human Resources Information Systems Division.
Under the contract, the company is obliged to deliver project management, business process analysis and reengineering and PeopleSoft expertise to upgrade USCG’s HR management system (HRMS) and strengthen their operations with their PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) and Global Payroll for Retirees and Annuitants into a single HR and payroll system.
The contract is valued at $30m over a five year period provided all the options are exercised.
This consolidated system would be used throughout the Coast Guard and by other agencies for which Coast Guard is a shared service provider.
Besides, SRA would replace the Coast Guard’s legacy payroll system by implementing their PeopleSoft Global Payroll system and offer operations and maintenance support during the contract duration. It will also help Coast Guard efforts to consolidate and modernise its HR system.
Max Hall, senior vice president, health and civil Services, SRA International, said: The Coast Guard/SRA Team has been extremely successful in delivering a fully functional PeopleSoft-based HRMS to support more than 100,000 active, reserve and retired members. SRA looks forward to our continuing partnership with the Coast Guard on this very important programme.
