Commenting on very healthy third quarter figures (page five), San Jose-based 3Com Corp says it sees continued fundamental strength in the networking market as it heads into its fiscal 1995: it says gross margins climbed slightly during the fourth quarter to 51.6%, and productions costs were cut at a quicker rate than prices for products fell; its adaptor business made up 56% of sales in the quarter, down from about 60% a year earlier, but its systems business increased to 38%.
