Pegasystems capabilities enhancement in US & European markets
Accenture has acquired Knowledge Rules, a Philadelphia-based consulting firm that focuses on implementing and integrating business offerings using Pegasystems’ Business Process Management (BPM) software.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Accenture said that the acquisition will enhance its Pegasystems capabilities in the US and European markets and increase its ability to help clients optimise their Pegasystems implementations.
The company said BPM provides structure and governance to manage and optimise an organisation’s activities and processes by connecting strategy, people and the enabling technology to optimise its execution.
Accenture chief technology architect Paul Daugherty said Pegasystems is one of the fastest-growing software providers and is a recognised leader in the automation of BPM-based offerings.
"This acquisition immediately increases our capacity to implement Pegasystems-based offerings, and will enable us to train and develop more people, more quickly," Daugherty said.
