Cupertino, California-based Advanced Computer Communications Inc has formed a subsidiary here in the UK following good sales of the Series 4000 bridge-router products through British Telecommunications Plc, and via large multi-national OEM customers; the company also signed to acquire Ring Access Inc, San Carlos, California to enhance its ability to support SNA on an internetworking backbone; Ring Access manufactures and markets the RA1200, a Synchronous Data Link Control to Logical Link Control 2 converter; terms of the pact were not given.
