AGE Logic Inc this week is supposed to announce XoftWare/32 for Windows, the industry’s first 32-bit X Window server software for Windows-based 80386 and 80486 machines: based on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s newest X11.5 server code, it enables users to run and display Windows and network-based Unix applications concurrently on the same MS-DOS micro; shipments of the $500 product start in early January; a bundled version of Novell Inc’s TCP/IP networking software will be available at $600.
