Aperture Technologies has revealed that more than 40 financial institutions, including several leading US banks, have selected the company’s Aperture Vista product to help manage their data centers.
Aperture believes the significant adoption of its flagship product in the financial services market is due to the fact that maintaining the highest availability is vital for financial services organizations.
Aperture’s Vista, the company claims, helps financial institutions to manage their mission-critical data centers efficiently by allowing for visibility and control of the data center physical infrastructure, including space, power, cooling, network and storage.
Customers in the financial services space currently using Aperture’s Vista product include AmSouth Bank, Fifth Third Bank, JPMorganChase and Lehman Brothers.
Without Aperture Vista, we had no way of managing many of the issues we face such as cooling and power and we also had no means to automate and manage the constant change which occurs in today’s complex data center, said Mallory Forbes at AmSouth Bank. Now, with the help of Aperture Vista, we are managing our data center as a best practice facility.
