AT&T Co has been ordered by the US Federal Communications Commission to publish the rates it will be charging the Federal Government on the FTS2000 communications system: it had wanted to keep the rates secret, saying that to publish them would put it at a disadvantage when it bids on the second and third parts of the contract in four years’ time and seven years’ time.
