Avistar Communications yesterday released the latest updates to its videoconferencing endpoint and operating system software, the AC300 IP Endpoint and the AvistarVOS 8.0.
The company said the system can be deployed to desktops connected via a pick-n-mix of IP and circuit-switched networks. New features in the endpoint include hardware compression and decompression, bandwidth management and statistics reporting.
