Boulder, Colorado-based BI Inc, which provides electronically monitored systems for home arrest, has entered a research and development agreement with Motorola Inc: the companies will jointly develop two applicaton specific integrated circuits over the next year, and BI will receive $250,000 in development fees; both will use the technology in their respective markets.
